Just like Fred Astaire, South Korea’s new skate sensation Hyo Joo Ko makes it look easy. She seems to be dancing on air, as she glides her long-board through the streets and riverbanks of Seoul: drifting, twirling, swerving, spinning, never once losing her balance or breaking a sweat. When Hyo Joo first picked up a longboard two years ago, she never dreamed it would be anything more than a fun distraction from her day job. Since then, she’s won over the world with her effortless moves and retro chic. Both are on display in her 24HourAce clip, which gives us an intimate glimpse of how Hyo Joo starts the day.
