The name of our latest offering is more than a simple play on alliteration. It reflects the exciting and engaging spirit of today’s Balmain—a house that continues to pay homage to its heritage and rely on the singular skills of a couture atelier, while infusing every runway with Olivier Rousteing’s desire to channel the way that his generation wishes to dress today.
This new collection looks to those runway offerings for inspiration, riffing on some of the Rousteing’s most familiar signatures, including thick fringes, quilted leathers, impressive embellishment, bold animal prints and those eye-catching black-and-white graphic patterns, which may be monochromatic but are far from monotone.
