Baudruchage, the final touch to an exquisite creation. In this meticulous procedure, a delicate seal, the "baudruche," is placed around the neck of the bottle's stopper. It is held in place with two rows of cotton thread and secured with a wax stamp bearing the double C. Only a handful of artisans, working within the CHANEL studio, know how to perform this precise art.
