ART AGAINST KNIVES + LONDON COLLEGE OF FASHION presents DESIGN+MAKE, a unique programme designed to support young adults in creating their own positive futures. The group of 10 young creatives aged 18-24 from the London boroughs of Tower Hamlets, Hackney and Newham were offered a bespoke package of support that included a nine month mentoring programme, an intensive two week leather making skills workshop and a programme of trips, industry events and showcase opportunities.

The programme gave the young adults the space to make a lasting positive change for themselves; to access exclusive creative opportunities and to shape their pathways into education, employment and training by developing confidence, resilience, and professional transferrable skills.
