As part of a project set by Donatella Versace to students of Parsons Paris, the MA Fashion Studies students were given a guided tour of the Versace Archive and tasked with exploring different historical narratives and exhibitions that concurred to the creation of now iconic Versace pieces, themes, and materials.
Developed in partnership with members of the Versace heritage department, the project raises awareness on the central role played by Versace in the history of fashion, and the brand’s innovative methods to activate and rethink its heritage today.
Watch the students visit the Versace Archive and discuss the project further.
Our thanks to the students and staff of Parsons Paris for their participation.
