For the second collaboration between the house of Balmain and PUMA, Creative Director Olivier Rousteing melded Parisian luxury heritage and American basketball excitement into an exclusive capsule collection to be worn on and off the court.
#BALMAINxPUMA takes the infamous Balmain B-Court sneaker to a whole new level, reinterpreting its iconic design with an avant-garde feel and the latest groundbreaking performance materials -such as high-rebound ProFoam and high-abrasion rubber. More than a fashion statement, the #BalmainxPUMA sneaker becomes the first ever playable luxury basketball shoe, winning both in the style and sport categories.
Balmain’s distinctive Parisian savoir-faire also leads the collection’s clothing designs, with familiar American silhouettes - warm-ups, uniforms, tees, caps and even a special varsity jacket- reimagined through Olivier Rousteing’s lens.
