One of the best songs from the Dire Straits catalog. I have always loved the sound of a pedal steel guitar and one day wish to own one myself. This entire song is really an emotional ride to your heart and soul and no one other than Mr Mark Knopfler can deliver lyrics as beautiful as these with that calming voice of his.
Tuning is E Std
Although this is 70% a piano song, I just could not help but to cover this track as close to the original studio version as I can. I've lengthen the outro part as this was the only dominate guitar part in the entire song, and just so awesome to play as well. There are many debates as to how this main riff is played/picked, so this would be my rendition thereof.
