Hit Me With Your Best Shot - Pat Benatar cover - Tori Matthieu - Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy

Today Tori takes on Pat Benatar’s 1980 classic tune “Hit Me With Your Best Shot”.

The song was Benatar’s FIRST Top 10 hit and has gone on to sell over a million copies in the US.

Songwriter Eddie Schwartz, said that he came up with the title of the song after attending a "pillow punching" therapy session in Toronto and that the lyrics are meant to be taken metaphorically. Phew that’s a relief!

The song is one of Benatar’s most recognizable songs and can often be heard played at sporting events.
