Well, I liked that last Tom Petty tune so much I decided to d/l another and sing it. This took longer as the backing track mix was screwed and I had to take time correcting that as best I could AND singing all the background vocals and trying to get the sounds good between verses and choruses. I think it turned out pretty well but it's not clear like the album. Partly cuz of the shitty mixing of the backing track. Dude seriously needs some real monitors so the bass isn't 12 db too loud. I also added another snare to the entire song manually using Addictive Drums. Pitched down by 3 to sing it, auto-tune, you know. I use every trick I know in the mix cuz it's fun fiddling with knobs.
