This song was recorded and then filmed in my home studio. This instrumental I found in internet, lifted it 2 steps higher then original. And I recorded my own piano and strings on top the way I need. Also I recorded the back vocals. All the recording, mixing, mastering, filming, editing and uploading I do by myself in my home little studio.

"Don't Dream It's Over" is a song by the Australian rock band Crowded House, recorded for their 1986 self-titled debut studio album. The song was written by band frontman Neil Finn, and released in October 1986 as the fourth single from the album.

The song, described by AllMusic as a "majestic ballad", became the band's biggest international hit, reaching No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States in April 1987. "Don't Dream It's Over" was also a great success in Finn's native country of New Zealand, where it peaked at Number 1. It also topped the charts in Canada, while in Australia it peaked at No. 8. In Continental Europe, it reached No. 6 in Norway, No. 7 in the Netherlands, and No. 13 in Germany. In America the single was topped only by "I Knew You Were Waiting (For Me)" by Aretha Franklin and George Michael.

ABOUT ME: My name is Alyona Yarushina, or Aly. I was born in Russia, and I am a singer, a musician,
I play the piano and do many arrangements myself, I’m in love with 80s and 90s rock. In Russia, I played with several bands. One of them is the best Led Zeppelin tribute band in Russia called "Plumbum Dreams". The other one is called "Back from the USSR", where we played Beatles songs in my own arrangements. We played in Liverpool, England almost every year on the Beatles week fest. My dad, Valeriy Yarushin is my bass player in this band. He's a legend of Russian folk-rock and his band “Ariel” was most popular in the 70s and still is now. I learned a lot from him.
In 2004, I won the “International Hopes of Europe” competition in Sochi, Russia along with the “Grand Prix” prize for singing I Have Nothing by Whitney Houston.

During my career, I had the opportunity to perform with great artists such as Chick Corea, Chris Slade (AC/DC drummer), Ryan Roxie (Alice Cooper guitarist), Innes Sibun (Robert Plant's guitarist), David Campbell (musical producer and arranger of Muse and Adele), Brian Tichy (drummer for Whitesnake, Billy Idol, Foreigner, Ozzy Osborne), Hal Bruce and others.
I like a lot of different song styles like rock, pop and jazz. I love classic rock.Bands like Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Boston, Oasis, Jeff Buckley, Vixen, Janis Joplin, Aerosmith, Guns'n'Roses, Bon Jovi, Scorpions, Winger, Skid Row, Sandy Saraya and others.
