Welcome to #NerdWeek2015 !!! :D WHO. IS. HYPED?!?!
I know I am!~ I've been planning this one out for awhile, and following the success that was Nerd Week 2014 I absolutely HAD to do a second one. This looks like it'll become an annual thing ;) Prior to this Nerd Week, I had a TON of requests for all sorts of song that fit perfectly into the Nerd Week theme. I compiled pretty much all of them, and then picked the one's that I thought y'all would like to see the most! Annnnnnd a couple of personal favorites, just for me :3 Either way, this is going to be a Nerd Week to remember with a new cover EVERY. DAY., twitch/YouTube streaming on the weekend, and a whole bunch of goodies going down over on the fan page. You're NOT gonna wanna miss a moment ;D
DAY 1 IS HERE! I start the week off not with a bang, but a different take on the slow jam, smooth jazz classic, "I'm Just Your Problem". I am not a fan of the show Adventure Time, but from what I understand this song apparently implies a lot about the relationship between a one, Marceline, and her "friend" Princess Bubblegum. Now, coming from an outsider's perspective, the lyrics to this song sound like someone who is brokenhearted over a case of unrequited love. I could be COMPLETELY wrong, but just reading between the lines of the original lyrics seems to point in that direction. SO...I figured it wasn't fair for just Marceline to get a say in the matter! You can take this from Bubblegum's perspective, or just a response to the song in and of itself. Either way, I hope you enjoy it and let me know what you think in the comments!!
As always, so many thank you's for continuing to support me on my musical journey. If it weren't for y'all, I probably wouldn't be able to do this as frequent as I have been able to :) I hope to keep to an even better schedule as the summer goes on, and STAY TUNED for some special announcements coming up in the near future~
