Took the old vid and muted the music track so you could hear just the lead vocal track plus all the breaths and headphone squeaks and music leaking from the headphones back into the microphone. Hope you like it.
WARNING! The lead vocal track has been processed with the effects I WANTED to use to try and make the vocal sound as good as possible. The usual effects path in my vocal vids is as follows:
pitch shifter (-X semitones as needed, in this case -9)
auto-tune (in this case, set to half speed pitch correction)
compression
EQ
multiband compression
de-esser
reverb (don't recall which one if arts acoustic verb or convolution verb)
lead vocal track was not doubled and I think what you hear here (!) was take 3 (ie, I sang it 3 times on 3 different tracks and used the 3rd take primarily with a few bits from the prev tracks and a punch in for the famous high part because I did not nail it the first go around or prob 2nd).
