What do you expect to find in a heavy metal guitar solo? That's what I thought too. But when I played those scales, it was like I went through some kind of portal and found myself on the other side.

A Short Story Around a Whiplash from Metallica:

"I was turning up my stereo, ready for a long night of listening to heavy metal. I put on my headphones and started playing the guitar solo from "Whiplash" by Metallica. It sounded amazing, but then it all went black. When I opened my eyes again, everything looked different. The walls were covered in graffiti art that all matched with the heavy metal vibe I liked so much before this weird occurrence took place. It seemed like there was no way out of this room- not even any windows or doors- but the more I walked around looking for an exit, the more these strange creatures popped out at me from behind corners! They had sharp teeth and they hissed as they approached me closer with every step I took…"
