Tuning is Std E (and a little sharp)

One of the Easiest tunes from Metallica, but yet very powerful and effective use of chords and grooves. This song has all the power a metal song needs, without being too complicated, showing once again that the simplest stuff can make you bang your head the hardest.

I have done this one before, but again, like years ago, I missed a lot of smaller details and had a terrible midi bass for a substitute bass sound. The drums were also off and lacking a bit of dynamic along side the guitar tones. So, what do I do in these situations? Well, I redo them of course. Starting from scratch and slowly working my way up. Redoing these covers take a lot of time as I have to really listen to smaller details to ensure I'm covering them properly this time round.

So What changed:

1: Accurate Drums
2: Accurate Tempo
3: Accurate Bass
4: Real Bass
5: Proper guitar tone
5: Better mixing and mastering
6: Better video (no more too close to the camera)
7: Better playing
8: Bell sound at the right place.

I matched this up to the original recording and then eq matched it to get the sound closer to the original.
