This was one of my most surreal experiences since I've started on YouTube. I'm happy to finally share it with you all!!
A few months ago, I was asked to cover a song from a new movie called "The Greatest Showman," in front of the cast and songwriters. INSANE, I know. I've never done anything like this before - but it was an opportunity I couldn't turn down.
It's so strange to see people you've seen on TV and in the movies chilling in front of you. Thankfully this group of people couldn't have been more supportive and gracious. I also sat down with the director of the film, Michael Gracey, to have a conversation about the song "This Is Me" and the meaning of music in my life.
Flash forward to today, and I'm attending the premiere of this movie tonight! I'll be walking the red carpet, and will get to see the full film sitting alongside its cast and creators. The whole experience has been almost dream-like. But I have to say, this opportunity, like so many others that have come my way in the recent years, has all stemmed from the YouTube community. So shout out to you guys for the continued support and love.
