Sand Art is a unique technique that allows you to create entire masterpieces using the most ordinary sand. Of course, some other devices and talent of the artist are required.
What do you need to draw with sand?
- Glass. Prepare a glass surface. This can be a table with a glass top or an improvised device that can be made from a regular drawer. Remove the bottom of the drawer and close the top with frosted glass.
- Highlighting. Suitable fluorescent lights. This is necessary to ensure that the image is clear and bright.
- The chair, but some artists prefer to create while standing in order to have maximum freedom of action and actively move.
- Sand. Experienced artists recommend using fine volcanic sand, it has perfect flowability, and its grains are so small that you can draw even the smallest and most subtle details. But if you are just starting to master this art, then ordinary river sand will do as well. But before using it, rinse it well to remove all trash and then dry it thoroughly.

Take 4 spoons of boric acid, 2 spoons of office glue and 1 spoon of food coloring. Mix everything in a bowl. Add 100 grams of sand and mix everything into a homogeneous mixture.
