Who doesn't have old CDs? One option to use unnecessary CDs is to make a mosaic of them. CDs are cut hard. Take strong sharp scissors. After use they become dull. You can try to heat the scissors to facilitate cutting the discs.
There are many ways of mosaic decoration: from complex “meaningful” drawings to a chaotic combination of details that are more or less suitable in size. The first option is more complicated and requires more detailed instructions. Draw a picture with a marker and stick the pieces on the surface, not sparing the glue, so you don’t have to glue the fallen elements again. The mosaic is ready, the glue is dry. Wipe off any traces of the marker with acetone or any alcohol solution.
