Awesome manicure hacks you should try
There is no denying that nail art came into our lives to make prettier. Having just a solid color on our nails is so old-fashioned now. Especially when you scroll through Instagram and you see the amazing designs all nail technicians do, it makes you want to try your own skills and see what you can create. In this video compilation, we show you the easiest and most beautiful nail hacks that you can create. We have some tricks on how to create a gradient manicure, to how to fix your broken nails without cutting them.
1. DIY Marble Art design:
This design is perfect since you can create beautiful abstract marble prints on your nails using just two colors. Firstly paint your nails a dark color of your choice, blue, red, purple, pink or green. Then, fill a glass bowl with water and add a drop of white nail polish inside. After that, get a hairspray and spray it lightly on top of the bowl to create the marble pattern in the water. Then, dip your nails in the water in an angle and then lift them up - the pattern will be transferred immediately on your nails. Finally, clean out the edges and add a clear top coat to lock the marvelous marble art.
2. DIY matte nail polish:
Instead of going out of your way to buy a matte top coat to make your glossy nail polish matte. Here is what you can do. Paint your nails the color of your choice and add some cornstarch into a glass or a bowl. While your nails are still wet, dip them in the cornstarch for a few seconds and then lift them up. Wait a few minutes until the nail polish is completely dry and using a brush remove the excess powder and clean the edges.
3. DIY Abstract Art - Paint splatter design for your nails
This is a fun one. Firstly, add some adhesive tape on all around your nails to keep the edges clean. Then paint your nails white or black and let them dry. After that, take a straw and dip it into a fun color of your choice and start blowing it on your fingers. Allow them to dry and then pick another color and do the same until you end up with a colorful abstract painting on your hands. Finally, remove the tape and apply a clear top coat to lock the colors.
4. How to make your own nail polish:
If you've been looking for an amazing color to paint your nails but you are struggling to find a pretty one. Here is what you can do. Take an eyeshadow of your choice, either a matte one or a shimmery one. Break it until it becomes a very powdery consistency. Then, take a clear nail polish and pour it into the bottle. Shake really well until the color is evenly blended and paint your nails as usual.
5. How to fix outgrown gel manicure
If your gel manicure has grown a lot on your nails and you don't feel like removing it since you like the color. Instead of spending money to get it removed and get another one, try this gel polish hack. Get some glitter polish and apply it near the cuticles where the nails have grown. Apply more at the bottom and less on top to create a gradient effect and Voila.
6. DIY nail polish remover
If you run out of nail polish remover and you want to remove your nail polish you can create your own. In a glass bottle, add some vinegar and then pour some lemon juice in the bowl. Mix them together, and then using a cotton pad, dip it into the mixture and remove your the color just like that.
