Cool scientific experiments you can try when you’re bored
Sometimes science is hard to understand until you try it. So, in this video, I show you some simple experiments you can try at home.
I show you how to grow your own crystals on eggshells. First, you coat with eggshells with glow and you attach some quartz to them. Then you fill a bowl with water and food coloring, you add some more quartz place your eggshells in and wait for a few days. After you take them out, you’ll see some big crystals showing.
I also show you how to make your own game using a sharpie. Simply draw little doodles on some kitchen foil and then pour water over them to detach them. Then take a few straws and start blowing on them to make them move.
You can understand how dense plastic is, by trying a CD trick. Remove the top coating with some tape and then using a lighter slightly melt the plastic. While it’s still hot blow an air bubble through it and you’ll see that it will become an abstract sculptural form.
