Санкции США в отношении Венесуэлы поставили страну на грань гуманитарной катастрофы, и самопровозглашенный президент Хуан Гуайдо пытается выступить в роли спасителя отечества.
По сообщению агентства France Press, Хуан Гуайдо, глава Национального собрания,объявивший себя с благословения США временным президентом Венесуэлы, договорился о поставках в страну гуманитарной помощи из соседней Колумбии. Однако переизбранный летом президент Венесуэлы Николас Мадуро отказался принять международную помощь, назвав ее «оправданием» для начала военной интервенции во главе с США.
US sanctions against Venezuela brought the country to the brink of a humanitarian catastrophe, and the self-proclaimed President Huang Guido trying to play the role of Savior of the Fatherland.
According to the Agency France Press, Juan Guaido, the head of the National Assembly,who announced himself with the blessing of the us interim President of Venezuela, agreed to supply humanitarian aid to the country from neighboring Colombia. However, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, who was re-elected in the summer, refused to accept international aid, calling it an" excuse " for a us-led military intervention.
