Søndag Søndag is a unique collaboration between violinist Katrine Grarup Elbo and pianist Jesper Mechlenburg. The Danish duo’s upcoming debut album was created with a desire to process and elaborate on some of the many different moods Sunday can possess. The album contains nine emotion-laden compositions. The titles of the records nine compositions are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Sunday am and Sunday pm, based on a desire to sprinkle a little Sunday feeling over all days of the week.

Katrine Grarup Elbo has studied violin at The Royal Conservatory of Music in Copenhagen and with Prof. Stephan Picard in Berlin. Katrine lives in Berlin and is a permanent member of the sound collective We like We and the Danish-German string ensemble Tochter.

Award-winning film composer Jesper Mechlenburg has for the past 15 years composed music for a large number of films, TV series, theatre productions, and ballets.
