ABOUT THE ARTIST

Madi G is an 18 year old pop alternative artist based in Sydney, Australia. her sound is a fun yet dark pop punk vibe; Influenced by the likes of Olivia O’Brien, Madison beer, hey violet and fall out boy, Madi G is a strong songwriter taking inspiration from Taylor swift, Ariana Grande, Sabrina carpenter, ed Sheehan and many more. Madi G has been writing and performing for over a decade now. Having released her first single ‘Poison’ in 2019, Madi G is set to release her debut EP this summer.

“Music is an outlet for me, whether it's writing my own songs or listening to other artists. Growing up, it (music) was always a part of my life, something that continuously brought me comfort and helped me realise that no matter how alone I feel, or think I am, there are always people out there that feel the same, that are struggling in the same way that I was. As an artist, all I want to do is create that same feeling of support and compassion in my own music, to help listeners feel seen in the same way I do”

Madi G’s debut EP is the exploration of one’s self and the complexities of different relationships we experience as we grow older; using illicit metaphors to convey the sometimes invasive and surreal nature of such relationships and the lasting effects that they can have on one’s psyche.
